Senator Aisling Dolan - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the Connecting Ireland rural mobility plan and the demand for new services in the Galway and Roscommon areas.
Senator Marie Sherlock - The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the anomaly in treatment of taxis registered in 2014 that were granted a licence extension to 2027, and taxis registered in 2015 that will no longer be permitted to operate from January 2025.
Senator Fiona O'Loughlin - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the implementation of the national fares strategy and its benefits to commuters in south Kildare.
Senator Mary Seery Kearney - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on funding for Irish musical societies.
Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the development of the Dublin to Rosslare rail line.
The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected Senators Dolan, Sherlock, O'Loughlin and Seery Kearney and they will be taken now.
